MISSION // DynamiCSS is Chinese Student Society at NYU's annual benefit showcase to highlight student talent through a competition and performances, which also features headliners with this year being UkeWithNix and The Fung Bros.

CSS has selected to go with black and gold this year, a change from previous years' varied colors. Black and gold is a little classier, and it had to be incorporated into a student event on a budget.

The graphic has always focused mainly on the headliners and this year also the MCs to draw in attendees.
​
I am not the main designer for this but have developed it into the final product with my working on the organizing and the background.
CONCEPT // DynamiCSS is more relaxed than a elaborate gala and we had to fit the black and gold to the atmosphere. The background by the main designer was initially lanterns, but I experimented with splatters of gold on black to make it look more thrilling and stylish.

To increase exposure, the TV banner was put up in the televisions around the venue. A giveaway was also done to raffle off a pair of tickets to two lucky winners on the Facebook event page.
ADDITIONAL SPONSOR MATERIALS
Our generous sponsors, Yaya Tea and Bingbox, agreed to offer prizes to provide to our attendees. However, with their only providing a logo, I decided to make the vouchers myself. The main theme of these gift cards are focused on the colors of the brand itself. Yaya Tea gave us the bubble tea and onigiri images to add into the picture and I layered their slogan in the background to add pattern. Bingbox gave us a limited number to provide and I created a envelope-like design to be used as a voucher for the winners.
VENUE DESIGN
Working with my Co-Director, we decided to use black tablecloths and ornament it with gold utensils, confetti, and gold-rimmed plates. To add color balance to the middle, we used white orchids in small vases
